Interesting item I have just read. Canada have beaten the ISA in a RL cup match. They are coached by Stuart Donlan. Further over 7000 watched the match. Be nice to see some more development there. Apparently USA are ranked 9th in the world, so well done Canada. I think the score given was 52-14. Somewhere to get a few recruits?

Is being ranked 9th in RL really that good?
1.Australia ( or Cas if you believe the The Whitwood Airdale Townville Supporters club) or (TW.ATS club) for short.
2.NZ
3.Eng
4.France
5.Wales
6.Jono's all stars
7.Neptune
8.Larsen B
9.USA
10.Ireland
11.Samoa
12.Tonga

if your not on the list which Canada aren't then to beat a team that is and higher than Samoa, Tonga and Ireland is something of a feat for a developing nation. I say well done to them.

Canada games shown regulary on prem sports played in front of big enthusiastic crowds anywhere between 5k and 8k go wild when canada score not surprising when they can cheer Tony "The Cat " Felix Cameron "Amazing " Grace Eric "The Destroyer" Moyer and not forgeting "Gorgeous" Geff Byland recent results beat jamaica in Annual Caribbean Cup 24'/20 lost to England Lionhearts 36 /12 As regards USA they play an annual three test series the colonial cup this year winning the cup for fist time in five years 2/1

In These fixtures no USA world cup players

As for playing level they lost 40/18 to RAF the same RAF who lost 44/10 to Normanton Knights in this years challenge cup having said that in interviews players and fans really into RL and like us think its the greatest game

Playing level is largely an irrelevance when it comes down to the enjoyment factor. I sometimes watch Selby warriors in pennine 7 and I thoroughly enjoy it.
It's a developing sport in Canada but they seem to be enthusiastically taking to our game. That's fabulous. I hope they can go from strength to strength.
