Rugby Oldham SUPPORTERS TRUST Dinner on Friday 3rd October promises to be a great night. At £25 a ticket it represents terrific value for a 3 course meal with coffee at the White Hart. We'd love to see as many Oldham rugby fans as possible. Yes it's dwelling on past glories but we'll never have future glories without fans rallying round. One way or another any money raised on the night will be re-invested in ORLFC (currently on the ground if any progress can be made, otherwise however may best help things going forward).

Frank Myler, Greg Worrall, Terry Flanagan and Ray Aston have confirmed their attendance. We are also hopeful that Des Foy can make it and Brian Noble (who came to our last dinner) will attend if possible. The Mayor and Mayoress will be present and Blake Solly is coming from the RFL. We are waiting on other dignitaries to confirm.

Pete Emmett will host the evening.

As the Oldham Evening Chronicle  and Advertiser don't reach as wide an audience as once they did we are trying to use this forum and twitter to publicise the event which has already been covered on Community Radio and Radio Manchester. If anyone can forward info by other means that would be a big help.

Thanks for any help you can give and hope to see some of you there.

Chris Hamilton has confirmed his attendance. He joins the Mayor and Mayoress, Debbie Abrahams MP, Blake Solly from the RFL.

1984 tourists will be attending - Mick Worrall, Ray Ashton, Terry Flanagan and we are expecting des Foy over from Ireland. A number of other GB 1984 tourists are invited so it should be a great night.

MC for the evening is the highly thought of Pete Emmett.

Tickets are fantastic value at £25 for an event of this quality.

You don't want to miss it! It's unlikely a dinner of this sort will take place again.

Ticket application details are on the flyer on an earlier post.

Mayfield dinner £30 - Rugby Oldham dinner £25!!!

At the White Hart too.

Plus heroes of the past present (including Des Foy coming from Ireland).

Plus tribute to the fallen in World War 1.

Plus souvenir programme.

Plus film show (including tribute to Watersheddings with some footage never seen before).

Plus brilliant MC/interviewer/comedian Pete Emmett.

Plus chance to win some fantastic prizes.

You won't get better value than this.

And it's unlikely ever to be repeated.

Only a handful of tickets left. Details on previous postings or contact me direct.

All profit will find its way to supporting rugby in Oldham one way or another, whether that's professional, amateur, junior or schools.

Lots of local companies have offered their support. So could you.

Hope to see some of the regular contributors to this excellent forum on the night. Let's bring the Oldham rugby community together!

Make a note of the date:_ Friday 3rd October.
