Doncaster's Stewart Sanderson spoke further to the official website ahead after Sunday's win over Workington.

The Dons ended Workington's seven match winning streak in the Kingstone Press Championship with victory at the Keepmoat Stadium.

Sanderson has been delighted with the progress the team has made throughout the campaign so far.

He said: "I think we have been sending messages out all season, nobody gives us a chance any season or when we are against the big teams in the league, but we believe we can beat anybody on our day.

"The win against Workington shows that we can bounce back from defeats and that team spirit really comes through.

"The close knit group that we have really rally together, we did that against Workington and came out with a good win.

"We will draw a line under the win now and in training look at what we can improve on ahead of Rochdale, where we will need to be on top form to get the win."
