And for the 3rd year in a row we hit the buffers regarding players at the vital part of the season. I know we have been low on numbers for much of this year but please mr vievers can we not be relying on ANY other clubs to release players for us next season ... Batley deduction takes the pressure off somewhat but Sundays game won't be easy .

On a side note great to see everyone signed up already for next season.

Yes , you'd like to think with PV in charge , and the way he's talking , things will be much improved this off season . The lack of players and the reliance on DR went together , and was flawed , as seen by when those outside players weren't available . DR may well be paired down next year anyway , so if that forces a clubs hand anyway then that's no bad thing . You want your own players we'd all agree , and we're on the way nicely as you say . The increased funding will help, and no doubt it'll be interesting times in the coming months . Hell of a standard next year , gonna be great fun ( Sunday permitting )

As far as I can see were not exactly struggling for numbers. Yes we have a couple of injuries but still have players not getting selected. Remember the likes of duerden didn't even make the 19 last week never mind the 17.

Having PV is a big plus for us in recruitment I'd say . We seem to end up light on backs , and hopefully we get some quality and numbers to add to the likes of carter and miller behind the scrum

Yes but I'm sure anyone would agree had 3/4 more "senior" players played against Donny .. We would have had a better chance of coming away with the points .. We have a good 13/16 ... More quality needed .. These places aren't to be feared :)

I think still being in with a shout for safety at this point of the season is brilliant after the poor pre season we had and losing our coach early on. How long were we coachless it seems so long ago I have forgot.

Fair points townie which we've been through a few times . We have a core of I'd say not as many as you do , but finally I have faith we'll get it right under this set up , and we'll get quality and quantity . Very true town4me .... Preseason , to half way through even . You must stand by what you say , and I for one feared where we going , not getting the wins , but PV and the players have dragged us out the fire . But yes , we can't forget what went on , and need to learn our lessons . And as well , in the faith and significance placed in DR . But the interview last week was very encouraging , and we can't tell this bloke owt he doesn't already know.
