Well I'm glad I haven't gone too far down the disaster route but I did have a shell suit top and those shoes minus the bottle tops.

Looking forward to some certain members on here and their confessions...................

I was still wearing boot cut jeans until recently, everyone else had moved onto straight/slim fit.

I once went into work with one brown shoe and one black shoe. To make it even worse one was a lace up and the other a slip on. I noticed as I went through the gate in the morning.
I spent all day waiting for someone to spot it but I got away with it!

Orange shiny shirt, flecky kecks and grey slip ons in a fun pub c1986 (I was only 15/16 but the combinations are still unforgivable)
Rugby League is a sport that desperately needs to expand its geographical supporter base and its player base. This imperative means that all other requirements are secondary until this is done.

All power in the game should be with governing bodies, especially international governing bodies.

Without these actions we will remain a minor sport internationally and nationally.

you'll have to take my word for it. Navy blue ones from Boodle Am,

Boodle Am and Cythrop(sp?) in Leeds were brilliant for 1970's hippie gear. My mates all got secondhand women's fake fur coats,  I pinched my mam's old one. One of our mates used to have a sewing machine and would run you up a pair of loons for £3. Finish the ensemble with a scoop-neck t-shirt with wizards sleeves and a pair of stack heeled boots.

Obviously, the younger board members will think we must have looked like right prats (guilty as charged  ) but we always did alright for women. Discos at Bingley Training College and McMillans Training College every week; then a couple of us did disco lights (heeey, pysychoflippingdelic man ... ) at the University rock concerts. At one time, we had a group of grammar school girls who used to skive off lessons  to come and tidy our flat.

These days, the Bradford students seem so serious and dress pretty conservatively, like they'e already started working for The Man. :(

Discos and gigs at Queens hall-Mac's student Union were always good. A bottle of newcastle brown in each jacket pocket and that was you, Bingley College was a good night as well. I had a a few mates there. saw Yes, The Faces, The Pretty Things, Gentle Giant, Fairport convention at the Uni, and had one of the best nights ever at the charter ball with Monty Python and the Hollies and my then current squeeze, bought a dinner suit from a junk shop on Great Horton Road.

One of the many great things about Bradford is the annual Infest goth convention. Great to see some of the goths in the gear going round the town and in the pubs.
