Gotta be Hall for MOM, although expect plenty of lazy votes for JP or KS

And so it is
An outstanding performance

Well done Leeds. Didn't like the negative tactics at the beginning of the second half (which let Cas back into it), but a deserved win.

I can confirm 30+ less sales for Scotland vs Italy at Workington, after this afternoons test purchase for the Tonga match, £7.50 is extremely reasonable, however a £2.50 'delivery' fee for a walk in purchase is beyond taking the mickey, good luck with that, it's cheaper on the telly.

The Cas players should feel a bit disappointed in their performance today really, making too many errors and being a bit too casual in their defensive efforts at times.  Having said that Leeds came to win and haven't let up so fully deserve to finally break their Wembley hoodoo (much as it pains me to say it!).

Leeds deserve it. Well done, I'm very pleased for them.

Cas, on the other hand, with several key players leaving at the end of the season - will they have such a good chance again in the foreseeable future?

personally im not seeing it with him tbh. I think tge Leeds halves have had a platform to rip Cas apart, and they havent done that.

Agreed, McGuire has had a good game but not much more. Can understand the sentimentality from Leeds fans though.

The Leeds forwards dominated their opponents overall, but the real dominance came from the platform built by Hardaker, Hall and to some extent Briscoe in the first couple of tackles each set.

Cas gave it everything in my view. They played as well as they are able and it's attribute to them and Powell in particular that they got to Wembley in the first place. Sadly, just not quite good enough.

Leeds settled the quicker of the two sides. They never lost the impetus they gained from that.

Behave, one of the best reffing performances we've seen in ages. No pedantry or teatrics, although, to be fair the players behaved well on both sides. Thought he made one mistake when he missed a knockdown by Leeds, but negligible in the game overall.

Cas didn't have the control Leeds did, didn't get the bounce of the ball Leeds did

Leeds the better team on the day

He totally changed how he refs te game usually
If that had been a league game there'd be penalties all over

He had a mediocre game and didn't make any decisions that he wasn't forced to

The Cas players should feel a bit disappointed in their performance today really, making too many errors and being a bit too casual in their defensive efforts at times. .

Give over how negative can you be.

How many Leeds players have Grand final and Challenge cup performances under there belt? They probably have 60-70 performances between them.

Leeds had a game plan and they stuck to it. They got their forwards on top by speeding the game up when they had the ball via Hardaker, Hall and Briscoe and slowed it down when Cas had the ball by kicking it into touch and winning the collision nullifying the main threat of Clarke.

Cas did not actually make that many more errors than Leeds.

Leeds players by player have a far superior side to Cas which on the big occasions shows through. Add the final experience into the mix and Cas were always up against it. Cas fought valiantly and should be proud of their performance and so should their fans.
