WELCOME
.
This round kicks off on THURSDAY 21st August.

Hasn't the season flown by? There's just two regular rounds left after this before the finals begin.

Our tipping competition runs on right through to and including the Grand Final.
There's a full set of eight games again to tip.
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 24 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Our regular poll comp looks at a different aspect each week.

This week let's look for the games where there will be loads of points scored.
How many games will see a total of 50 or more points scored in NRL R24?
that's both team's scores added together.

- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 24 2014

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R24?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Away Win Competition:
How many AWAY wins will there be in NRL R24?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:

Round242014NRL_zps082509ea.jpg N.B.THURSDAY START

All Times Local

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores are being added together as the season is progressing to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone this week.

Enjoy your Rugby League!  B)

I make that 2 away wins Stoney. It'll stay as 1 as you've put unless you say otherwise.

Yes Kiwityke, I've tipped Warriors but it was a close call.

They are so unpredictable  but they are at home and have a reasonable record there against Sydney.

Right can we call it a day after the first result is in? We're all on 100% correct!

In the end although Doggies had a clear victory on a rainy night I wasn't convinced by their performance.

Maybe they were saving themselves for their game versus Bunnies next weekend.

They'll need to play a lot better than this if they want to do well in that one.
