Burmantofts is in North Leeds, although no doubt residents of Alwoodly and Shadwell would deny it.

Well I'd have said it was East Leeds bordering on South Leeds, Hunslet is very adjacent

Brian McDermott didn't have much time for Schofield, did he?

Clearly, McDermott isn't all bad, then.

Since when did South Leeds have a different accent to any other part of Leeds?

There have always been different accents in the different areas of Leeds .If you don't know the difference you cant be a Leeds person.JJB and JP for instance most Leeds people can tell they speak with Bramley accents .

but you and I weve been through that and this is not our fate.
So let us so let us not talk falsely now.

Tru dat. My old man can place a Leeds accent to a postcode, pretty much spot on most of the time.

It's not a question of coming down to earth, Mr Duxbury. Some of us, Mr Duxbury, belong in the stars.

anyway

well done Mal Reilly well done rugby league.

There precedent from within the game has been set with Trevor Foster let's seem more recognition of people from within the game of the people who have made it great

and recognition by the game of people the game who merit the honour.

Sir Malcolm Reilly - Rugby League royalty.

If anyone deserved a knighthood surely it should be Mal.

When I think of some of the Union grave train merchants who have been given knighthoods and Mal has an OBE. It beggars belief.

Yet another travesty of justice.

The Royal Family has no interest in our game.

Over the years, they've made that very, very clear.
