Didn't see the game, obviously, it's too far to drive from here!

But that's not my point.

A video of the 1966 Football World Cup and the 2014 World Cup would show, as Spelly points out, today's players are faster, stronger and better prepared, but the fundamentals of the game are identical. A RU test in 1966 and 2014 would show the same.

A video of RL in 1966 and I have one of the Test series that year, and RL in 2014, the closest I have is the Lions winning Championship 1, show a completely different game.I don't need to list all the differences.

If those faster, stronger, better prepared players were playing under 1966 rules, how would it look?

In my humble opinion we are all being robbed of the true nature of RL, the best of which, coincidentally, was represented by the Swinton Lions in the 60s.
