Keighley have announced that admission prices for next season will be £17 for adults and £10 for concessions.

However they are selling Early Bird season tickets for entry to 14 matches which must be purchased before 28 August at the following prices:

Adults £120  - a saving of £118!!  or £140 with a replica shirt.

Concessions £60 - a saving of £80!! or £80 with a replica shirt.

Under 17's FREE or £30 with a replica shirt.

I think the tills might well be ringing at Cougar Park this week.

£17 will make them the most expensive Championship ! club as they aren't safe yet ( know they only need 1 bonus point to secure safety)

But mightly impressed with discounts as i'm sure they will get a big take up for this and have money in the bank for the off season expenses

Fair play to them, get the money in early so you can plan ahead.
What we're dealing with here is a complete lack of respect for the law

Or are anticipating cash flow issues which this should paper over?

Still fair play to them, whether glass half full or half empty. Shows a bit of initiative.

It's quiet evident Keighley need some very fast money which is to cover a shortfall in predicted revenue...don't be fooled or tricked into thinking this is a marketing stroke of genius
It's scare mongering your fans into stumping up well in advance.

What is for sure is that Keighley shouldn't expect too many away fans at their place next season, unless they discover the need for more special offers but for the visiting team this time.

Do you think that Batley can sustain a £15 entrance fee for KPC1 next year if you were to go down?

I think they should try! People will complain but £15 to sit/stand anywhere  and if we want to make it out of CC1 we need the revenue. I also think £17 is minimum what most clubs will charge, as they do at Leigh/Fax for a decent seat at £18. I won't be surprised if Dewsbury increase their prices next year!

To £15 maybe, but not to £17.

£17 for standing in the rust bucket of Lawkholme Lane is a bit different from £18 to sit at LSV don't you think?

If they sold 1000 tickets split 500 adult, 400 concession and 100 freebies that would be a greater average than this season and get them £84k of income or £70k plus vat - they are luvved if that is the case unless a major benefactor has turned up

Mmmm.Interesting.They now need FOUR points for survival and not 1.And they have 2 hard games left to come.Might be most expensive team to watch in Championship one.But i hope not.I hope they survive.
