The kick off to this round is on Friday 22nd May

There's just FOUR games in the round as eight teams are on byes this weekend - see below

N.B. Any of the teams playing in Round 11 will not be able to field any players picked for QLD or NSW squads in Origin 1 which takes place on the following Wednesday

This will potentially impact on the team line-ups and consequently the match results
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New entrants are especially welcome

Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round
 
ROUND 11 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition: 
This week we'll look for the biggest upset result of the round!

This will be based on the league positions as at end of Round 10 where a lower placed team beats a team above them .

The more places below, in this week's ladder, they are than the beaten team, the bigger the upset!
Which Round 11 game will produce the biggest upset result?

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 4 (that's FOUR) winning teams in NRL Round 11

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R11?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition: 
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R11?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

Poll = Tigers vs Cowboys * I made a mistake and picked Knights-Broncos in the poll, but I'm going with Tigers-Cowboys

Comp now in progress. First game over.

 

Rabbitohs won.

 

Only Kiwityke went for Eels and I thought you'd been very shrewd there Kiwi. With ten minutes to go Ees had a 4 point lead in a tight game in wet conditions and looked like they had the initiative and drive.

 

But no, Souths somehow found the try line under the sticks and had an easy conversion to score the winning points.

Irish Saint was the clear winner this week with a laudible 4/4 that's 100%:

 

Points Total: There were just 158 points scored in this round. The closest to this total was Southstander13 (+3) 

The Home Win comp had just one of us correctly predicting 1 home win : Irish Saint

Our Poll Comp again had two winners this week  who predicted the biggest upset win would be Bulldogs beating Raiders ('twas the only one as it turned out) :Irish Saint, and Barney

Animated awards will be presented to this week's winners as soon as I've been able to create them.

Congratulations to 100% Champion this week IRISH SAINT 

 

Our group strike rate was only  20/48 or  42% - nothing to write home about!
