mickhornet
Seems like Salford are bringing the 1st team squad over.Should be a very good game.Cant see us winning but a good test for us. 2005, Bobby Goulding in charge. We lost 30-24 to a last minute try from a "Dan Marino"pass.Anything near that would be brill.
glemiln
Hornets lose 16-44, but it seems that we put in a very encouraging performance with a 12-0 dream start and gave them a game. Second half staying power seems to have been the main difference against our full-time opponents. How different our play in general from last season? Good to see the crowd of nearly 1350. Heywood Tiger
I was impressed with the performance, the way Case, Cookson and Riley dealt with Salfords left side especially with the size of Carney and Griffin was immense. Cookson definitely looks the part, throw Ratu into that back line, somewhere!!?? and it's frightening. http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/rochdalecobrasarlfc/ http://www.hornetsrugbyleague.co.uk/Home/Page http://www.wiganwarriors.com/

PooingDog
Good one eyed report here as usual. just like they should be. http://theseladscanrunfor80mins.blogspot.co.uk/2016/01/impressive-hornets-hit-ground-running.html?m=1 "Interestingly, while Hornets were acquitting themselves admirably against Super League competition, newly promoted Oldham were going down 16-8 at ‘unpromoted’ Keighley. Indeed, Hornets scored more points against a Super League side than Oldham did against a team in the league below them.Did anyone mention that it’s the Law Cup next week? On this showing, it could be very interesting." Memento mori Who cares -Wins!!! Carpe Cerevisi AKA. Hope you guys enjoy league 1 this season and your 350+ crowds hahahah Well sir, I must thank you as you have restored my faith , the moronic element of Oldham R.L.F.C is still alive and twitching, thank god. I was getting worried, especially after reading Allroughyeds heartfelt and moving post regarding a recently deceased genuine supporter, and then you crawl out from under your slimy stone with some international class half-wittedness. mickhornet
Hope we sent a letter of thanks to Salford for the game.Apart from Oldham, and not in recent years, the crowd for the friendly was the largest i can remember. And to bring the 1st team squad was fantastic. Hope we can play them again next year.
