<p>A GROUNDBREAKING deal has been announced today that sees Club Doncaster secure a major new kit manufacturer and technical partner.</p>

<p>The deal is the first of it’s kind in Europe, with Club Doncaster, Doncaster Rovers, Doncaster Rugby League FC and the Club Doncaster Foundation set to work with a global partner for the next 3 years. </p>

<p>Football Thailand (FBT) is a global sports apparel and equipment manufacturer based in Thailand, with a significant reach and supply chain across the whole of Asia. The background to the growth of FBT is a remarkable story in itself.</p>

<p>They have interests in football & many other sports and their support of the sport is well known in the Far East.</p>

<p>They are the major sporting Company in Thailand, employing over 2,000 staff and everything is made within their own vast complex in South Bangkok. </p>

<p>Sir Rodney Walker, chairman of FBT Europe said that Club Doncaster’s community focus was key to the formation of this partnership. “FBT Europe and Thailand’s mission lies very much in parallel to that of a community based project. </p>

<p>“Our aims are challenging but flexible and we anticipate that we will move forward together within the Doncaster community. “Our brief within the joint venture with FBT Thailand is to develop the brand and presence in the UK & Europe. </p>

<p>“After a careful assessment of the market, last year we began to address this challenge with a sponsorship deal with the Football League Trust which included the Foundation at Club Doncaster.” </p>

<p>This will be FBT’s first partnership with a professional sports club in Europe and comes off the back of a number of highly successful partners across Asia, including national teams. </p>

<p>This partnership will allow the organisations within Club Doncaster an opportunity to create and further develop a brand and design unique to us which is a critical part of the future developments at Club Doncaster. </p>
