We have purchased our tickets for the Crusaders v Salford game and the advert for the game said only 31 tickets left in section that my daughter bought our tickets for,we are looking forward to the match and wish Crusaders and their fans all the best in the future. The reception from the Salford fans to Krisnan Inu should be interesting.

I thought that Walmsley should be embarrassed with his conduct throughout the entire match, constantly whinging and giving a good impression of a windmill for eighty minutes and the Saints fans walking back to the airport car park were saying that very thing. Sam Hill and Nathan Connell have been real finds this season and really handled everything very well and the Salford fans were behind the team 100%. throughout the match and on the way out after the match there were no complaints about the performance whatsoever.

We both must be from that certain vintage Harry.

Pyke and Amor are Peter Brough and Archie Andrew’s in disguise as Amor keeps repeating what Pyke says.

They do it’s the Manchester Evening News and the circulation is down to 7315 which says a lot for the Reach Group, it’s the same with the Bolton News, two decent newspapers ruined by Reach.

We were at the match,then watched it again on the BBC Iplayer and the actual BBC presentation didnt in my opinion provide a true representation of the actual match and the crowd interaction during the game. At the ground the action on the field differed from what the big screen was showing IE the screen showed the ball going into a scrum, yet in the match itself the ball was moving along the line,plus the atmosphere in ground was far noisier than it was on the commentary. I thought that the BBC commentary team were better than the some of the Sky commentators overall.

I have got it loaded but the feed keeps going off, makes the commentators sound like Norman Collier.

According to my parents my first game watching Salford at the Willows was in 1946 and I am still a fan some seventy eight years later along with all the family and some friends. I can’t remember who we were playing but I do remember the hot potatoes when it was cold and Lucketties ice cream on the warm days and my dad used to say that Albert Lucketti the ice cream man was faster than any of the players if he could see a sale along the touch line.

RW For anyone who lives away from the Manchester area the Museum is situated right next to the Barton Square section of the Trafford Centre in what indeed was the Argos warehouse,there is ample free parking in both the Museum site and Barton Square although the Museum site is not fully open yet. The Barton Square can be accessed from the main section of the Trafford Centre via the covered walkway close to Boots and John Lewis or alternatively if you go past Asda coming from the old Swing Bridge Barton Square is on the left The Salford City Reds section is a well thought out and constructed part of the Museum which also has a transport site,Brewing site plus others. The City Reds site has obviously been well received by some of the people hence the post on The Scarlet Turkey and as a long standing RL fan (SCR primarily)I found it very interesting and feel that it will benefit the club and the game in the long run.

Judging by how the disciplinary panel operates Myler will be cautioned for staying on the ground too long. It was a very late tackle that was uncalled for and Tomkins should be banned.
