Holden Cup on Premier

10 September 2014 - 01:14 PM

Just noticed that Premier Sports are showing live coverage of the Holden Cup U20s Finals series starting on Friday morning at 8am. Tigers v Bunnies on Friday and then Knights v Dragons and Roosters v Warriors on Saturday morning.

Broncos v Eels was also going to be shown, but it's now being played at the same time as the Roosters v Panthers NRL game, so Premier presumably aren't showing it.

Premier Sports on BARB

26 June 2014 - 11:14 PM

I've just noticed that Premier Sports are now reported on the BARB Top 10 viewing figures lists. For w/e 15/6:-

 Figures in 000s-

1. NHL Tonight (Sat 12:31)                          11

3. NRL (Sat 10:30)                                         7

4. NRL FullTIme (Fri 10:01)                           5

5. Gaelic Games (Sun 13:40)                        4

10. NRL Footy Show (Thurs 18:00)                3

Rugby League Show refers to Rugby AM, so despite being much criticised, it was actually the 2nd most watched show of the week. But this does show the very small numbers this channel is getting - 11,000 for the most watched show of the week isn't many. I'd assume they lost a few subscribers when they lost the Championship coverage, but it does make you wonder what numbers they were getting for last years World Cup.
