In Topic: And just as Zak was getting his act together

How can a club control what the fans say during a game?  Yet the Castleford club was fined for the homophobic chanting of its fans during a match with the Crusaders.

That doesn't make it right!

The club shouldn't have been fined.

The police should have arrested the minority that were chanting and then the club should have banned the individuals!!!

I know we are talking Leeds here, but in all of this is there any scope for the RFL to fine the club itself for the behaviour of its players? Does the club not have some responsibility for controlling its employees, and upholding the moral and ethical standards of the wider sport?

RFL to fine the club itself for the behaviour of its players?

Don't be so stupid!!!!!

The RFL will deal with Zak directly, them Leeds themselves will probably impose punishment as well, double the trouble.

If we are going to start fining clubs for what individuals have done, why don't you start fining fans that support that particular club, or how about the pubs showing the game!!!

Lets not lose focus on the topic itself, and people need to put there hatred / rivalry aside.
