  2. It did, then it said today "Unfortunately mate I won't be back this week my injury is still not right! Hopefully be back very soon." A pity!
  3. Town Squad ? ? Curwen; Davies; Doran; Fell; Fitzsimmons; Forber; Hambley; Howarth; Lister; Maudling; Moore; Mossop; Phillips; Prior; Rasool; Ritson; Ryan; Singleton; Szostak. Note: Squad was published on the Keighley site and according to this nineteen no Joseph included. I always thought that the squad was selected after Friday night training so until the club confirms the names, time for a little caution.
  4. Keighley Squad As well as the suspended trio, regulars Scott Law (Groin), Vinny Finigan (Ankle) and Will Milner (Toe) are still not ready to be included in the squad. Ritchie Hawkyard (Facial) returns since suffering his gruesome injury during the Good Friday victory over Hunslet in April and Brendon Rawlins (Concussion) also returns after missing the defeat to Whitehaven last weekend. Aidan Scully, promoted from the Reserves this week, is also included and Scully is in line to make his first team debut at Derwent Park. The Batley duo of Trae O’Sullivan and Brad Hill are not a part of the squad and are instead expected to feature next Sunday against Oxford instead. 1 – Harry Aaronson 2 – Andy Gabriel 5 – Davey Dixon 7 – Matty Beharrell 11 – Josh Lynam 12 – Brendon Rawlins 13 – Mike Emmett 14 – Adam Brook 15 – Neil Cherryholme 17 – Nathan Conroy 19 – Matthew Bailey 21 – Emmerson Whittel 22 – Ritchie Hawkyard 24 – Liam Darville 25 – Ben Sagar 27 – Sean Kelly 29 – Brad Nicholson 32 – Adam Ryder 35 – Aidan Scully
  5. As everyone expected ( with their injury problems and suspensions) Keighley signed two forwards on loan today from Batley Bulldogs. Trae O'Sullivan and Brad Hill. O’Sullivan, a 21 year old Prop, has experience of League One this season having previously spent a month on loan at Hunslet RL back in March. The former Leeds Rhinos youngster has also previously spent two seasons with the Coventry Bears prior to join the Bulldogs ahead of this season. Brad Hill, son of Keighley Cougars legend Brendon, is a 21 year old utility forward who joined the Bulldogs ahead of this season from Featherstone Rovers. Hill is a former Bradford Bulls youngster who moved onto Featherstone Rovers before joining Batley has made 2 appearances for the Bulldogs this season as well as appearing for Oldham in a defeat to Hull KR. Trae and Brad both provide cover in the front row with Scott Law currently ruled out through injury and doubts of others within the the squad.

  13. Nice learning experience for the squad today, the most pleasing surprise for me was the performance of number 20 Kieran Mewse, a promising debut.
  14. Apologies if you are already familiar with this site and information. However, with regards to squads and signings for the next season in Championship 1, it is worth looking on the RFL Fans Forum - RLFANS.Com. Once on the site, scroll down to and then enter the Keighley Cougars site, find the topic '2017 League One Squads' where 'Hello Trouble' is recording all the respective club squad details as they happen. Interesting reading for all rugby league anoraks amongst us!
