  1. Point of season long loan IMO of course, is to strengthen our on field cause not training pitch. They have a SL mentality, and Maher especially as the 'big guy' replacement should add bust up front. We had a great season, everybody bust a gut, right on top of their game, can we ask it again without that extra help?
  2. So they've been training, went on the bonding exercise, why is Matt saying they won't be figuring in the opening match, according to League Express?
  3. When are we going to see the benefit of Maher, Holmes and Hitchcox? We have Gledhill, our new no. 8, and second row pair of Manning and Farrell missing for how long, yet no mention of these guys being in training ready to bring their Super League experience. A big part of at least my expectation for this season was based on these 3 'season-long' loans. They should be here and being talked about for our opening.
  4. Wish Linnets all the best, he learned from one of the best. Got talking to a couple of Cougars fans on a coach tour just b4 Christmas and they were really upbeat about him. No doubt he'll benefit from a couple of loans ftom us as well. Good luck.
  5. Sorry DD been ill posting to you tmrw, 19th hope you get it in time.
  6. HOW

Top right are 3 horizontal lines. Click there and there are options, one of which signs you out. Assume that if you sign out there it will invite you to sign in next time but wouldn't swear to it. It does take some getting used to in its' new format I agree.
  7. Can't see how they can be insured with no parent club in place, unless each player covers himself.
  8. Received DD chq in post.
  9. Heard from a Rams fan this a.m. that the Bradford game is off.
  10. With no disrespect to those currently holding wing slots and anyone in the wings (sorry, no pun intended!), Johnny is head and shoulders above in pace and he can tackle better, in my opinion of course. Never mentioned him as full back. He's Batley through and through and I' m sure would take a decent offer, better than what he's now getting or MAY be offered at a new Bradford. PLEASE, somebody, put in a phone call

  12. We can't accuse Kev Nice, the board or MD of anything other than doing a brilliant job, but not talking to Johnny would be awful. If he were to end up at Fev or Fax that really would be a disaster
  13. Any chance of getting Johnny back!! Doubt the new Bradford will be going by the 15th although it's possible if a quick deal is done and coaching in place. It would give them an idea of their chances in the 2017 league. Are other avenues being explored to cover the 15th? Maybe a decent BARLA National Conference team might be available and give em some gate money.....
  14. Can't see a problem substituting one for the other, only needs a change of traveller and any re-imbursing of costs.
