Pretty sure they are going for a 8-10 tournament split into two conferences. That will be back up by schools and university leagues. They have done well with Michael Carters Wakefield and co. You have people in local amateur clubs donating older kit. Wakefield and GDZ sport providing playing kit for one of the senior teams Eko Trinity. They have beastwear in australia lending them support as well. Ade obviously has a way to getting to people's better side and getting help. Regards training, wait for this bit and prepare yourself for the shock. The RFL have been really helpful been doing courses over the internet.

Its aimed at the generation of younger Nigerians. Casual sports wear is a big thing in Nigeria after the World Cup (soccer). Those pesky Millennial's, they get everywhere these days.

Was it the Hull KR kit that ened up in Bulgarian Rugby Union? Rochdale Hornets old kit surfaced in union 7s in Belarus.
  21. Your missing the point of how the sport needs to be relevant to the viewer. Its not about watching your team on TV but watching a sport that you are familiar with. If you go to Leigh your more likely to be able to watch Super League in a pub. Than if you went to Exeter. You decide Leigh should not be top flight or any club thats is not one of the big ones your going to damage the sport. We need clubs to relevant again Bradford, Widnes, Leigh, Halifax, Keighley are all names that could bring a crowd at one time. That footprint supplies our crowds for a much needed international game. Yes, expand but never replace. Clubs can leave Super League but we must have enough space for clubs to come back. Have a 12 team league with 5 american teams the space goes for clubs to move between tier 1 and tier 2. In the UK topflight round on round crowds for union have over taken league that number is an important statistic to would be sponsors. A church does not spread its religion by having less but better looking churches.

    Do the RLIF actually communicate?

I am surprised its not a well oiled-machine with such an experienced Rugby League administrator at the helm.
  24. That statement can only be backed up if you have the viewing figure data from Sky. You say that's not how it works, but if the audience for Super League is around 100-150k viewers where are those viewers coming from? If you think removing any serious Rugby League presence from Greater Manchester, Kirklees, Merseyside\Cheshire and London wont have a negative impact on that viewer pool. I am not sure who you think the viewers are for a sport that has next no real media footprint. We are not seen as a national sport by the majority of the radio \television and print media. The people at the RFU who have been trying to wipe out the sport since 1895 cant believe their luck. I suspect with the plans for this "Emperors New Clothes" transatlantic league they have decide to leave us to it. As we put the gun in our own mouth and prepare to pull the trigger as we wipe out our presence from the sporting map of England.
