Well done, hopefully you will collect after Sunday. Wish I had.

    Will Dagger

Will Dagger will be given the chance to claim Hull KR’s full-back role in 2019 when returning to the Robins next term. The England Academy starlet, who has also featured for dual-registration partners York City Knights this year, is highly-rated at KCOM Craven Park and is tipped to grow in stature over the next two years with the Robins. “We’ll put him straight into training for next year. He’ll be one of the main options for full-back but we have to have more than one. What happens over the next three weeks will determine what other options we have.” said Tim Sheens. The above is an extract from an article in the Hull Daily Mail. No mention anywhere of Matty Marsh, so maybe he will be released. I wonder if .........?

    Officials for Whitehaven

Referee J. Smith Touch Judge 1 G. Melling Touch Judge 2 S. Ellis Reserve Referee J. Powell Assuming Smith is his real name, he is actually a SL ref I think. Could have been a lot worse.

    Cup final on Sunday.

Interesting, but totally irrelevant to Sunday. If we were playing this game any earlier this season, we would be predicting a comfortable Knights victory. Knights to take the title in style, win by 16.

    Hemel Away

You have read my mind Andy, I was thinking exactly the same.

    Hemel Away

Just got home, and on reflection, I think efficient is probably the best way to describe today's performance. Without being disrespectful, to Hemel, it must be difficult for the team to play in those surroundings after the intensity of the last two weeks.. A rutted pitch, one temporary stand, and as the teams lined up for the kick off, somebody came on with a doggy bag to remove some dog sh*t from the pitch. There were no more than 200 there, and I can honestly say I didn't see one Hemel fan. How can they justify playing at this level?

    Bradford

Obviously a lot of issues for the fans, but as a Knights fan, can I just say to all of you, get there tomorrow and support your team. For what it's worth, you are OUR team as well tomorrow. As Captain Mainwaring used to say, 'they don't like it up 'em'. Good luck, you can do it!!

    Crowd V Hemel

I wish they were playing in Sheffield, be a hell of lot nearer.

    14/9/18 - D Day

Yes, sorry it is just my thoughts, I should have stated that, it wasn't anything official.
  10. If it has been passed then my idea would be if three teams are to be promoted, then the Champions go up automatically, to be joined by the winners of the 2 play off semi finals, no play off final needed. At least that means the team finishing second have still to go through a play off, as it has been all season.

    14/9/18 - D Day

I know it doesn't help Oldham, but if three teams are to be promoted, then the Champions go up automatically, to be joined by the winners of the 2 play off semi finals, no play off final needed. At least that means the team finishing second have still to go through a play off, as it has been all season.

    Crowd v Whitehaven

The club will have to decide in advance if they want to open the Longhurst stand, because the football goalposts are put there, so from a health and safety aspect, the stand cannot just be opened on the day. Shouldn't be a problem moving the goalposts into the pop stand, maybe they should just do that anyway.

    Today’s/tomorrow’s vote

Nothing should be pushed through tomorrow that has any effect on what happens this season. If SL don't get their own way, the RFL should get everybody concerned around the table during the close season and thrash out an agreement acceptable to all, to take effect from next season. That way everybody knows exactly what is happening from day 1, or is that concept too simple for the RFL to grasp?

    Team for Hemel....

Not surprised with all their injuries, guess Judah will take his place.

    Team for Hemel....

...hasn't been announced yet, but if I think it might be a good idea to leave Marsh, Oakes and Ormondroyd out just in case they are not available next week. We have a strong enough squad to cope, and it won't do any harm to give a couple of players a run out, just in case.
