  1. It wouldn't surprise me if the RFL actually thought that the Rams played at mount pleasant. So where is the game to be played? The Rams?
  2. If anyone fancies a full day of Bulldogs rugby, the Batley Bulldogs Girls take on East Leeds (local rivals) at 11.30am today. The game will be played at the boys high school on Batley field hill. Come and support the girls!
  3. That's for that, I'll let him know. The girls were beat today (for the first time) 48-0. It was Brisbane's best v England's best and was a real lesson in RL and where the countries are at with their development on the sport. None of our amateur clubs have casinos and bookies, in fact the girls are lucky to have their own changing room back in the UK and what we've seen today has only inspired our girls further to change the sport in the UK. Onwards and upwards, we have a few injuries but are still high spirits (they had to lose one day) Roll on the next game, we have 2 days to patch the girls up
  4. The Bulldogs Girls arrived in Brisbane safe and sound. They've put in 2 hard days training and play their first game today. We are waiting to kick off at Ipswich Brothers League Club. We have also brought a playwright with us who is currently writing a play about the club and the girls, you can keep up with the tour through his blog here: http://theruck.org/
  5. This Saturday (17th Oct) Batley Bulldogs Girls are hosting an evening with rugby league legends Francis Cummins, Brian Noble and another who is still to be announced. The event will take place at The Mount at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10 and include supper. There will be a raffle and Zak Hardaker has kindly donated a framed, signed picture of himself recieving the Man of Steel trophy to be auctioned on the night. This is the girls' final fundraising event before they leave for Australia on Tuesday 20th Oct (leaving the mount at 4.30am if anyone wants to come and wave them off). The girls will tour the Gold Coast for 3 weeks, taking on Brisbane Allstars (a team selected through trials of all the teams in the Brisbane area), Beerwah Bulldogs, Ispwich Jets and finally the Australian champions Merrimac State. The girls cannot wait to get to Aus and represent the Bulldogs. If you are interested in a ticket for event on Saturday or buying raffle tickets contact myself on here or Craig Taylor at the club.
  6. Come and support the unbeaten Bulldogs Girls as they play Wigan Girls tomorrow in a title decider, Midday Kick-Off at The Fox's Biscuits Stadium, Free Entry!! It should be a right ding dong!
  7. Batley Bulldogs Girls take on Bradford Girls tomorrow, 12.30ko @ Taylor Street. They have won their last 2 games and hope to make this 3 in a row.
  8. Does anyone know how much summer bash tickets are from the club? And when are they on sale? I can't find any details on the club website
