Not much about Eagles !!!!!

KEIGHLEY COUGARS v SHEFFIELD EAGLES

Oliver Pursglove is extremely doubtful for Keighley after suffering a knee ligament injury against Batley, but Brendan Rawlins and dual-registered signing Nathan Massey will be in Barry Eaton

A disappointing result of a draw, but with inferior refereeing and junior touch judges who needed specialist education on basic maths skills on straight lines and angles, and a disgraceful mud bath of a pitch where, in the words of one of the forwards, game plans went out of the window in those conditions, can only say the good thing was that it didn't rain during the game.

Alex Szostak scored in front of his parents and g'dad, Jonny W got back on the score sheet with a try and Menzie showed his soccer skills to set up a try.

Certain Cougar players kicking out when tackled and connecting with heads, with Alex R getting a head injury in a "tackle" with a flailing foot, and a couple of others going down suspiciously... not a pretty game.

Stats were not done by me, as I went to watch for once, but with a PA so poor you couldn't hear announcements on the PA properly!! No idea who subbed for who

JW's try sounded like "Woodcooke"...

Happy days a short 10 min trip to Craven Park today
