Futtocks seems to know a lot about when people pass away...

Are you the Grim Reaper?

Years ago, my ex-father-in-law told me that Deanna Durbin shunned any publicity after she quit films because her weight had ballooned.

I have the radio on at work - normally the World Service or Radio 5 - so these things get announced pretty promptly as breaking news. And I'm the grim reaper.

I really must pay more attention! I posted this earlier, then thought I'd posted on the wrong forum so deleted it, now I'm retyping it.

The Liberal Democrat Party.

Not quite dead round here. The Lib/Dems have taken both Malton and Norton from the Conservatives.

Interestingly, there is still a Liberal Party round here. In Pickering, the Liberal candidate held the seat (he was the sitting councillor). In Ainsty (Harrogate), the sitting Conservative councillor switched to the Liberal Party and held the seat, though it looks like a switch from Conservative to Liberal.

I used to love Sinbad, Clash of the Titans and Jason and the Argonauts when I was a kid. The skeleton fight from Jason and the Argonauts was brilliantly done and quite scary to the 8 year old me. RIP

Even with motion capture, blue screen, CGI etc. the skeleton fight would be impressive. Ray's version is astonishingly accomplished, considering the technology he had to use.
