I have plenty of perspective Gaz. Just that on this issue we see it differently. I am suspicious of the system, I think you are underestimating it's flaws whilst exaggerating it's advantages. And I do think it sets champ clubs down the "feeder" route.

We are polarised here. No great deal Gav. We're rugby fans with opposing views. C'est la vie.

If you at least accept that it won't kill the game, I'm happy to leave it at that. ;)

Are you for real actually read that thread, i never questioned your commitment, it was your mate that questioned mine, said yours blinds it i just said PROVE it, thats all although im at a loss to know why your replying on here and not the appropriate thread

Indeed.

Thats the difference between us and you my friend, we are very passionate about our club and we dislike our neighbours its socialised into us, you however have obviously very little passion for your club thats why the fact you are a feeder club doesnt really bother you

Support your team to the hilt. I wouldn't want it any other way Gav. I wish there were several thousand more like you.

You've hit upon a forum where many have an opposing view Gav and I agree the debate is kind of winding itself up. However, given the consensus on here and how strongly people view this topic (Zealots my ar se), it's good to see that we're still here 10 pages on..... still arguing...... still debating.....no slagging off etc...

I enjoy this craic however different view we have on this subject.

Can I get back to being irritated by Griff now please. It's the natural order of things. The homeostatic equilibrium must be maintained!!

I know why you lot are peed off about the issue - it's because you're not going to get the first pick of dewsbury's best players next year - they'll all be off to bradford.

Do Fev not get money from the RFL for 3 community officers then, when York get money for just the one? If I'm wrong I apologise.

Community officers ? What's that got to do with this ?

Community officers work in the community.

Indeed.

I said passion for your OWN club which you obviously have none, not the game in general. Its hard to keep up with you when your jumping from thread to thread carrying on the same discussions. Be easier if you have keep seperate discussions to seperate threads

It's not long since just about every club had its own A team and those that didn't were looked down on.

Now clubs are happy to be someone else's A team.

Come a long way, haven't we ?

To be fair, it's mostly Government money.

Mostly from taxes collected off people in York and Dewsbury.

All I want you to accept that its not going to kill the Championships, because is isn't. I want you to accept we are not going to lose hundreds of academy players to the game, because we aren't. And I want you to accept that the clubs entering the partnerships are not becoming feeder clubs., because they aren't.

.

these are your opinions, not fact. just like ours.

Have a heart. I have been retired for 19years. During the 44 I worked I paid taxes and towards a pension. I bluuddy well still being taxed at 2o% of the money I saved up for. So a bit should surely be coming from THIS area.

But you didn't pay tax on the money you paid towards your pension. That's how it works. You don't pay tax on it till you get it.

Oh griff, you've gone back to being tedious again!

Is it a requirement of holding an accountancy qualification?

When I worked in that field I worked with some of the most tedious people I ever met. ICMA came with a self declaration that the registration required the holder never did or say anything of interest...... ever!!!!!

I renounced tedium in 1994. It's never too late griff

Nothing to do with that, Robin.

It's a function of having a mother who's never worked in her life, gets a fat pension by virtue of my late father, lols about on the settee all day watching endless trash tv and keeps whinging about how much tax she pays, how poor she is, how this pension's due to her because she worked for it, how difficult a life she had because my dad worked shifts, do I know how much work is needed to bring up two kids. ........

You can see why she didn't work herself - far too busy!

The classic came a couple of weeks ago when she was explaining to our lass about the dangers of growing up in the war. Our lass grew up in Belfast in the '70s.

Not getting into this argument griff. I did pay tax on the residue of my income and I am still paying tax on my earned pension to which I contrbuted. Probably better off if I had done brugger all. The point was if the government is handing out money I must have contributed by virtue of 63 years of paying taxes.

Ah - there's nothing fair about taxes. People make that mistake.

You can contribute all your life and then get run over by a bus when you're 64.

That can happen if you have a good pension or walking around with your breeches ass out. What you are really saying is that everybody should make a will. Something I have been advocating for quite a while. Still say it and there would be a bob or two for Fev if the cards were played correctly.

Seems Leigh's feeder club is' in addition to loaning players to South Wales Scorpions' sending two other players to Salford on loan next season.

Leythers are so angry they feel like we are being starved into oblivion.

We are beginning to think we are not being allowed to be the Pies feeder club and no matter how we dress it up we are feeling hungry. :O
