I fail to find the correlation Griff.

If you rent a ground, the rent is the end of your commitment. If the ground needs any work, you point to the landlord and he gets it done.

If you own a ground, you have to pay the mortgage and do the remedial work yourself. It's not all beer and skittles.

If the landlord decides to demolish the ground, you are left without a ground.
