stronger team for wakefield, leeds more experimental. sounds like a good encounter, scoreline wise?

40-26 full time, yeah a few debutants on show today, think the extra man helped leeds somewhat.

It's about time the RFL started dishing out medals for this, never mind sending people off.

Edit. Perhaps that might have been trialled today.

Good hit out but absolutely spoilt by the incompetent in the middle. As for the new rules all featured a charge down by ledds re gathered by Wakefield ended the tackle count, Leeds then scored from the next set. McShane kicked dead in the second half and a 40 tap took place, scrums who caresanyway but the new rules looked good IMHO.

Justin Poore legend after 30 minutes, cant beleive he got one on Bailey as he is usually at the back when the action starts :)

What would they call it? The "Thump the Punk Award"? [To the Admin, I'm just having a laugh]

Poore must be quick, Bailey is usually half way back to the changing rooms at the first sign of trouble, or hiding behind Burrow.

a good game pity wakey could not control there tempers better but at least it showed commitment .

the new rules of course the scrum one was spoilt by the sending off but until teams learn to make set moves out of it then to early to say.

the 40m tap is a good move as it rewards good defence that keeps the oppositon team trapped in there own half who get out with a negative kick

the charge down rule i do like as it rewards the charge down which is under valued at present.

some good prefomances from the likes of mcshane, bailey.kirke and vickery with far to much effort been put into trying to give moon running chances instead of useing both wings . certainly some good shows from the younger leeds players especially singleton, balwinson and foster

it really was a pitty wakefield had a player sent off but there you go with a new player from australia trying to hard to impress

I can see the headline tomorrow...

"POOR SENDING OFF DECISION BY REFEREE AFTER BAILEY IS PUNCHED"

(Please allow for any spelling errors.)
