The RL papers this week made it sound like Austin Bell, Matt Nicholson & Sam Orange

should be ok for this Sunday so looking forward to seeing them play, but Sully not ready yet.

Also hopeful of Haynsey been back for the Hull FC friendly.

Think I heard on Radio York GT quoted as saying we are after another centre to strengthen

the squad.........

£14 quid far too much for a friendly !

£14 too much to watch a very inexperienced team, if we have about 9 props on the books why was our pack so light today ? Is King training yet, or is he another player that has gone wailkabout.

Hard really to judge today's game what with such a very young and inexperienced side on show, a few lads looked green at this level but you couldn't fault their effort and spirit.

Thought Austin Bell went well, looks a decent signing, best player for us Tyler Craig thought he was excellent throughout both in attack and defence, he looks a fine prospect.

Just hope the knocks and injuries ain't that bad, fingers crossed a few days and everything will clear up.

Old Biscuit Arms he may be but you cant whack the guy's enthusiasm for a game of RL, he's worth part of the admission money alone and could certainly teach one or two of the younger guys how to offload a ball. The grin on his face when he stole the ball one on one with Ty Craig was a picture !

That's a decent side Clive Griffiths has put together and they well deserved their win. Dave McConnell had a tremendous game for them. Sorry to see Luke Stenchion limp out of the game today - hope he's OK. My Knights MOM was Kris Brining - puts some great hits in and was always trying to get the team forward.

First of all massive well done to the Crusaders & in particular their fantastic support, hope

they go really well this year.

Disappointed with our performance, too many 1st tackle errors, but the experience will only

do the young lads good long term. Tyler Craig looked good to me along with Brining & Bell

looks like he could be a handful.

No panic generally, but agree with GT in the Press today that we need to bolster the squad

& get more strength in depth.

Quite hopeful that a few of Hull FC's starting line up from yesterday might be down here soon,

would be good for our club & us fans to know exactly who we are getting & when to clear up the

current uncertainty, the proper stuff is only 2 & half weeks away so surely things need sorting now.
