Looks like a load of clubs have ditched their one year experiment and another load are going to try it for a year. Though wonder if Thornhill Trojans have their eyes on the NCL by going summer?

How did the game ever survive before Bowes made himself future planner of every team at every club in the world ever?

Perhaps some lads at Thornhill fancy playing Summer?

Perhaps they want to use it to bring on the kids?

Perhaps they want to undermine summer rugby from the inside?

Perhaps they just want to play with Bowes's head?

Perhaps its some masterplan to take over the world..... 2 Thornhill teams in the BARLA national cup to make an all Thornhill final then win everything summer has to offer, then put a Superleague franchise together, win that and the challenge cup then declare independence and then win the world cup?

Perhaps Bowes knows nothing.

Anyway looks good to me a lot more structured league with teams in each league around the same level. Supposedly a pre season cup tournament too!

Come on Lokos

hopefully this season will be a better for all the clubs involved it was always going to be difficult last season with teams joining the league from different leagues unlike the NWML and with nobody knowing what standards the other club were going to be. I am not saying it will be perfect this coming season with new clubs entering the league once again but hopefully it will be a step in the right direction. on paper all the leagues look very good and should be competitive. So lets now hope that alll the clubs buy into the concept and play their part in making all the divisions work. Last season alot of teams played their home games but then failed to travel for the reverse fixture. Good Luck to all the Clubs involved

Wasn't the standard that was the problem last season it was player availability, even the leading clubs struggled at times with numbers and it will not get much better if it does at all, with the exception of a couple of clubs who will be challenging for honours the rest will struggle at the back end of the season when players move back to their winter league/union/football clubs, this has been the pattern throughout it's history.
