Training

6 posts in this topic

I was just wondering how other clubs are managing with training with he recent weather? I know a lot of clubs, including my my own, use council owned fields, so will have struggled for outdoor training.

We have been spending most of our time in the club gym doing weights/circuits, and also have been mixing it up on a Saturday by going to a local, better equiped gym to do some metabolic conditioning (Battle Ropes, Prowler, Kettlebells etc).

I get the feeling you are all going soft in the traditional RL towns.... get outside and train in the snow http://www.pitchero.com/clubs/burybroncos/photos/training-in-the-snow-354828.html ;)

Outside in the snow has been OK so far as we've worked on fitness. will be harder once we start ball work...

Council won't let us train on the fields is the problem!

Theres plenty of open spaces near to your club house.
