Subject: Groupon Offer

Hi All,

We have a Groupon offer for our games against yourselves (Dewsbury, Barrow and Whitehaven) this season, One ticket for £5, two for £8 or a family of 4 (2 adults 2 under 16s) for £10.

Obviously the offer is to try and get new people down to the game and not our own fans taking up the offer but I thought I’d make you all aware so you can to let you fans know as well.

Offer runs out at Midnight tonight and the link is:

Any other questions just ask,

Thanks,

Liam

Thanks for posting that for me Dave.

To explain to our supporters the deal runs out at midnight but I only received details of the offer at lunchtime today (which coincided with this forum being "down").

Not sure how well Sheffield will do out of it financially, though, as I'm led to believe Groupon are the ones that rake in the cash on these deals.

As a promotional tool for your product, however, it's a different matter. It depends on what you're hoping to achieve,

If you're after filling empty seats and getting people interested in your brand, or trying to encourage more away supporters, it might be a useful thing to look into for us, maybe?
