Keith T

Town v Barrow

38 posts in this topic

I see we have Jamie Leahy reffing on Sunday and, I never thought I would ever say this, but I actually think he is one of the better refs we see at DP. When I've watched him on Premier Sports matches he nearly always seems to be right with his decisions even if at first I thought differently.

Turley has been rewarded for his inept performance on Sunday by being given the Haven v Fev match!!!

One thing we will see more from Barrow than we did from the Champions. Here's to a good local derby and may the best team (Town) win. ;) ;) ;)

Looks like it may be good news for Big Red , and fingers crossed for Calders , who we really need and is in white hot form .

if we perform we win, its as simple as that. if both teams perform at 100% then town win a close game but hopefully we put some points on the board and stop them getting a bonus point. i dont think barrow have improved from last year and i think were improving every game. im going to be confident and go for a town 34 raiders 18 victory.

Barrow are no pushovers but if we perform like we did in the eagles game i would expect us to win by 12 and 20 points. These games against the teams that will be more than likely around us in the league are important. We have to win them and take BP's off the main four in the league.

I would be happy with any sort of win, I think it will be closer than a few on here are predicting. Can't see Barrow fetching many, but will be more than Fax and Sheffield brought. They brought 4 coaches last year which was the best away support we had seen all season ( not counting the thousand haven brought obviously  ). predict a crowd of 900.

looks as though we are going for the exact same side as last week. to be fair everyone deserves another go after last weeks effort.

Calderwood fit?

according to charlton its the same squad as last week so he must be. what an improvement from him this year though, would any of us cared if he was fit or not last year, but this term hes our best attacking player and is playing out of his skin.

Can't argue with the same squad , it's just the execution when we're on top that needs sharpening up .As Charlo says , pats on the back and nearlies end here.

You have to hive MC credit for his performances. This kind of attacking play in these tight games could make all the difference this season.

Hoping coyle can direct us around the park again

Well you would hope that he will be that little bit fitter and last throughout the 80 minutes this week.

Hopefully for the full 80 this week ,and him and Lupton can gel a bit more this week . They played as individuals last week a big much . Either way it's on their shoulders to finally turn our pack power to end results. Who knows , maybe they've an extra incentive to stand out this week ?
