No disrespect to Bradford, but the Brough factor seems to have had a huge effect. A big pack is only effective if the space they create is used efficiently.

That has only been mentioned once on YorkLeedshire Radio.

Don't get that dross over here. Still an excellent result if Bradford can pull it off, if a little less surprising than if Brough was in the team.

sky 0209.

If Huddersfield pull it back and win Brough's absence won't be deemed as big.

First game I've been to this yr and great effort so far!! Our goal line defence looks shaky but if we can tighten that up we may just sneak this!! Good to see Kopcak getting some stick.

I'll pass thanks.

True - and you can only beat the team that's actually playing.

Sammut with 1on1 ball steal over the line for a try! Foster goal and 30-12!!

Even though it keeps cutting out, it's a decent channel for rl commentary. It might be worth it for when Wigan are over here.

Cheers, though in ordinary circumstances I'd hope to be at the game.

Although I will concede it's a good 30 seconds delay.

An unusually early mid season collapse for Hudds?

Bloody hell. Didn't see this one coming.

Are the Bulls back?

Only this week.

Great performance today and a good example of how a 'weaker' team can put a game plan together to win a game.

Our completon rate must have been near on faultless and played a really simple game plan very effectively and finished our sets really well. Hudds ball control was awful and they consistently knocked on when they seemed to be getting a roll on.

Thought Foster an Kear were solid for Bulls and L'Estrange and Manese were strong in the middle.

Crabtree stood out for Hudds and but they lacked direction and probably missed Brough.

Didn't expect that today anyway!

(We had to turn the electrics off just in case anyone thought I'd exploded with glee!)

FT 18-43

Sammut drop goal.

Sammut try after the hooter had sounded.

Foster goal. (Although sky text credited this to Kearney, confirmation required)

Correction to the correction: Blythe try, not Walker by all accounts. That's still 99 tries for Chev Walker now. Eddie Hemmings can't rest easy yet.

What the hell's up with the Bulls this season?!!!

Week 1: big win

Week 2: rubbish

Week 3: big win

Week 4: words can't describe how poor they were

Week 5: big win

I can see a pattern appearing here. Widnes should be confident for next week!

Well played the bulls they deserved their win, far more enthusiastic in all areas

But I can't begin to say how bad the giants were today, and I'm sure ant Bulls fan at the game will agree with that.

Utterly woeful tackling that was only matched in its ineptitude by our handling - when they switched on the looked dangerous but it was only a case of carrying it closer to the bulls line before we coughed it up, and they were the good patches

It was only luck that stopped the bulls scoring more, and they were never troubled in defence really because all they had to do was wait for us to knock on.

Still, top of the league lol

It could have been more as Foster was bundled into touch next to the corner flag on 67 minutes and then 2-3 minutes later apparently Sammut dropped the ball after a one-two with the line at his mercy.

Can anyone at the game clarify whether Foster or Kearney converted the final Sammut try after the hooter? Ta.
