That's why the DR system is causing unrest in the championship Give the younger lads a chance of game time but C Bridges is not a championship player at this present time

I am a Swinton fan and disgusted at how the club is using the DR arrangement.Worth noting that Morley,Briers and Moaghan are all currently out injured for Wire so no doubt will feature for Swinton as part of their rehabilitation.

To play devils advocate - wouldn't Morley or Briers add people to the gate just to see them play?

It might do if Swinton only charged £5 in or less. Whst is the admission fee at LSV for a Swinton game?

If people want to watch these players, shouldn't they go watching warrington?

In the RFL's world that is exactly what they want you to do.

Im not sure thats really the case, simply because there isn't enough of us to make a difference to sl club finances should we all choose to go watch them.

I think the thinking is,championship fans should help to pay for the development of sl juniors and the rehabilitation of of established sl players.

Dual Reg players should be :

A. Under 24 on 01/01/2013

B. No more than 6 dual reg players to be registered at the CC club at any 1 time and a max of 4 can be in the starting 17

C. Those 6 players above to be registered for a full 2 months at a time, without recall by the SL club. Then the 6 DR players are reviewed/revised every 2 months. Can be the same or different players up to the max of 6

D. The DR players can play against the SL club in the Challenge Cup from when they are registered. The SL club cannot have first say as to which team the DR player plays for, except where the player has already played for a SL club (unlikely)

E. The DR player can only play for 1 club in the Challenge Cup from the time the CC clubs first play until the final. So if Player A is DR'd on 01/03/2013 for Dewsbury, then Dewsbury play Bradford in the Cup and Bradford ave injuries then the DR takes precedent.

Points C, D & E may make the SL clubs think a little more as to who they register as DR

F. Any SL player who has appeared in Super League in 2011 or previous to that cannot be a DR player

G. Any SL player who has been in the starting 17 more than 25 times cannot be a DR player. Thats nearly a full season of games so they are not a developing player.

F and G. stop the registering of such as Chris Bridge undermining the system

some teams are playing by the spirit of the rules whilst others are taking full advantage of the farce that the powers that be have set up.

Its emotive and is hacking folk off, we had games last week they got talked about we have games this week, should we revert to last weeks threads?

DR and Franchising is taking the focus off the RLWC somewhat, that is wrong.
