Matchday posters

Whoever creates the matchday posters for Lewes FC is something of a genius:

If only we had someone with the same imagination/inspiration it would create a bit of a stir around town.

Those posters are fantastic, aren't they?

I produced a poster at the start of the season (nowhere near as good as those!) but the problem is finding people prepared to give up their time and stick them around the local area.

Anyone checking out BSJ's link should also take a look here: http://www.lewesfc.com/ownership-essentials/

What a great way to run a club!

Just looking at the link from Tom, its £30 per 'owner' and according to their website they have 902 owners. With my poor level of arithmatic thats £27,060 a year to the club. This would cover any short fall in sponsorship. You will always get more who wish to give more. This is exclusie of the season ticket though so you purchasing a vote, discount in shops and the future of your community club.

Great idea from what looks like a great community club.

Club should look into this.

I would be happy to pay thirty quid a year extra on top of my ticket to become an investor, but quite a few on here aren't even happy about the cost of the ticket, so I don't know how much interest would be generated - I suppose the new lottery will give some indication of how much fans are interested in preserving the future of the club. Batley have already done the share thing with some success, so I guess it's worth looking into.

You're right of course, when it comes to stick and life you must either support the club or stop complaining.
