Egremont Rangers 12 - 6 Lock Lane

Both sides displayed excellent goal line defences, sloppy hand work at times... Definitely a forwards game.

Fixture planners could have been kinder to Peterlee? Pilks away 6-104, Woolston home 6-54 and ive just noticed next week its Kells away. Talk about demoralise a new team!

and half team of scallys that would rather fight than play rugby but after the two brawls THEY caused

I thought it had to be two teams involved for it to be a brawl. Didn't you join in?

Leigh Miners 16-6 Milford Marlins

Great experience for the Marlins and one that we hopefully will learn from, and it was also a good indication of where we need to be.

Re the Normington game bet the disciplinary are rubbing their hands , cant belive how stupid some people can be, what kick do you get in dragging the sport down into the gutter? your club are going to be chuffed to bits with you bringing this to the attention of the wider public .

By the scores peterlee have been beat in the 2 games they've played just shows tht letting certain teams into the conference is silly. Esp wen ther are a fair few teams with real quality still playing in the regional leagues tht wud actually give a decent account of themselfs. U cnt blame the fixture planners, more like the ppl letting them into the league in the 1st place as they wud stil get heavy defeats if they played them 2teams at any point in the year and they stil have the likes of blackbrook and kells to go yet.

And nevillebartos I've played at ur place b4 several times and ur team aren't exactly saints. But to come on ere say wot u have is embarresin. ther has been plenty of times we're ur team has acted like thugs and rather then make the game look bad and spout stuff on a forum it has been left for the powers tht b to get down to the bottom of it.

I don't think they are wrong giving expansion teams a chance. It's just that they haven't done them any favours putting them in what is a very strong D3. By adding so many strong regional sides all at once the division is stronger than its position suggests.

Regional Leagues are usually smart aboiut this and will put new clubs in an appropriate division. However the NCL operates as an elite league - when you enter it you know this can happen and have to live with it for a year or two until it sorts itself out.

sorry to say this but, in my experience of playing against peterlee they were not ready to make the step up to NCL level. they struggled to compete is yorks league div 3. however sometimes it goes to show that having a good clubhouse and junior setup does not a good competitive make!! i hope for their, the league and rugby in the north east sake they do improve.
