Didn't hear any rumors, but since when did the RFL listen or look after any team or supporter in the Championship?

RFL, would you please mind buying us a ground to give us a chance of growth and survival?!?! Nah, all that cash went to Bradford.

The four clubs not involved in DR drafted an agreement that they wanted all clubs in the Championship to sign to protect the integrity of the competition. This was about a fortnight ago and I've not heard anything since. The RFL have stated that there will be no changes until at least the end of te season when the situation will be reviewed.I would imagine there will be some changes made for next season.

I'm sure there will be changes before the start of next season .Probably along the lines of an age limit and legislation to stop the use of established Super League players being used.

Strictly speaking that should read "4 of the 5" clubs that have decided against entering into a partnership agreement - not sure why Barrow didn't sign, but they are the 'odd one out'.

On the day the four clubs met Barrow were at home to Batley in the Thursday televised game and no-one from Barrow was able to attend their meeting. That is why Barrow hadn't signed the memorandum of association with the others.

The RFL listen to anyone outside their 'inner sanctum' or ivory tower? You must be jokin'.

It's largely because of their blinkered view of rugby league nowadays that the game has gone right down (under?) the Swanee in recent years.
