Fev away predictions

93 posts in this topic

Hate to be negative and hope the lads give a good account of themselves but i see it as a damage limitation exercise. Fev are the best team in the league and are estabilshed in it and on their own patch the biggest ask of the season. Getting through it injury free will do for me. 44-14.

Predictions pretty pointless on this one . Get through it and out the other side with everyone in one piece , and aim

for Haven with as fit and strong a squad as we've had this season.

i agree David. We have the pack to deal with the jampots we just need them all through the fev game injury free and the backs too of course but our pack will be key in the derby. I will be glad to see the back of this next fixture.

I would be delighted with a 30 points defeat as long as we had a clean bill of health for Good Friday.

A massive defeat wouldn't do much for the crowd against the Jam, so we need to be competative.

honestly i think fev 56-town 8. but this a throw away game and a week on friday is what we should be concentrating on.

wouldnt have thought towns players will think that mate but they could just get the backlash from fev's stumble at Eagles unfortunatly.ans as most of youre lot state the Haven game's a biggie! B)

Hope your players have more faith...remember you almost upset us a few years ago just before our grand final with Oldham;....plus you beat us at Derwent Park..and its Ronnie Laughton;

That was back in 2007 Phil and there's a lot of water gone under the bridge since then!!!! We'll take a bonus point off you if you don't mind though to help our cause. Ha ha.

anything could happen though in eighty minutes....players sent off etc can turn a match; Fev take all teams seriously....no-ones unbeatable; Its great to have you back in this league;

Does this game count for the Billy Ivison Trophy or is it just the game at DP ?

I can't believe all the negativity. Why can't we go and give them a good game? I'm not being disrespectful to Fev, and I know all the recent history of away games. But we could and should have beaten Sheffield. I hope the players all have a better attitude than our fans. Surely we will play better going into Good Friday on the back of a good performance against probably the best team in the division, instead of a tonking. We can't go into games trying not to get injured as its too hard a game to play half hearted.

I say the lads should go down and lay down a marker for Good Friday by coming back with at least a point.

UP THE TOWN.

When do we learn Thacks ' fate ?

Hope its just a one match ban. Surely dissent should only get one match. It wasn't anything more than dissent was it?

It was a grade C offence, carries 2-3 match ban at best.

Grade A 1 match ban or EGP

Grade B 1 - 2 match ban or EGP

Grade C 2 - 3 match ban + possible fine.

Be three then . The grades are more which league you play in .

2-3 games for dissent seems harsh

There are different grades of foul and abusive language but I think Thacks was also charged with raising his arms in a threatening manner as well as the language. That's why it's a grade C category offence.

Simple for this game, come out of it with no injuries and our pride intact. A bonus point would be a....erm....bonus....erm....you know what I mean.
