Will the club be showing the wigan v saints game on the big screen before the hornets game Friday? It's a chance to get people in early and get some money over the bar

Prefer drinking in the club as it's cheaper than the surrounding pubs. Give the club a ring, and see what CH says.

I know its only banter Rob but please change the record. I am sure we have many other things we can take the p*ss out of each other with.

Wait till Friday night then we will see who has the bragging rites.

Anyway good luck to Howdumb this season, except against us.

I am really looking forward to Fridays game. The league is what matters and what a way to begin, with a derby game. Come on you Yeds!!!!!! Let's keep up our 100% record for the season against the Hairnets.

I only hope the coaching staff are not resting on the laurels of having already beaten Hornets twice this season. Not wishing to tell Scott Naylor his job, but he needs to put himself in the mind of Ian Talbot, who will have a game plan to overturn the previous two defeats, and then come up with his own game plan to counter that. I know that's probably easier said than done, but we cannot go into Friday's game either complacently or underdone. I have an uneasy feeling about this match. I hope I'm proved wrong.

It's difficult to prepare for opposition that could have 4 Saints players in or none! But I am pretty sure Scott and Spanner won't allow the lads any complacency. It should be another good game.

Yes this whole DR system is difficult to manage for the clubs and for the fans to know who is wearing their clubs colours.

I thought the Hornets coach had solved this by not bothering with Hornets colours ?

"And if Hornets are to keep their own supporters onside and avoid the kind of jibes that greet them both from Oldham supporters at the end, and opposition players on Twitter later on, they would be advised not to have coaching staff and substitutes in St Helens branded clothing during matches."

I dont think our crowd will match the Doggies vs Bunnies -51,686 the biggest attendance in Sydney for a club game since 1966.We might get the 686,sad times.

How come the Club can afford to pay for Sky Sports ( from what I can understand, the fee for showing Sky in a Licenced Premises is a few grand a year)?. Couldn't that money have been spent on better things like decent Terracing for the loyal fans or even working Showers for the players?
