Front runners this year seem to be Melbourne and Manly.Both looking very strong

Those two along with souths but I couldn't split them think it will just come down to who hits form at the right time

Round 5 games so far have emphasised it is still early days with some teams only just settling in their new players and patterns of play.
Melbourne, Manly and Bunnies are the ones who have impressed so far but I reckon it's too early to write anyone off just yet.

All the same the current next tier of clubs - Titans, Knights and Roosters don't look like the real deal on this weekends outings.

Early days though.

I would have NQ and the Bulldogs as dark horses behind those three. Other teams would have to make massive strides in the next few months to challenge for the title.
