Well a wins a win thought we made hard work of it, think the last three hard games have took its toll on the players, just glad were not paying Karl Pryces wages don't know how much he's being paid but its far too much.

What a big useless uninterested lump he is , no wonder he's never been able to hold Dow n a place at a big club , think the Rams are throwing their money away on him !!!

He's just going through the motions, pinching money.Must be frustrating for the coach and Dews fans.I thought he was a good signing when they took him on,think he could do better at this level.

"Dual-registered player Adam O'Brien" - strange you didn't mention that he was our only dual-registered player, out of journalistic balance how many Hull players were playing today?

Three, but none of them scored.

Agree with Spanish that we made hard work of it at times but well done to the players for seeing it through to the end.

I was a bit puzzled as to why Browny didn't make more of the wind in the first half but Dews did the same after the break, although the Knights did well in following GTs instructions to pin them down in their own half.

Although it worked in our favour was sad to see Rob Spicer limp out of the game.

Spoke to Spice after the game and he was still in a bit of pain and probably out for a week or two. You're right, Peter, it was sad and made a difference to the game - he's a top player and a top bloke.

By the way, how good was Jack Lee today ?  There walks a lad who decided he wasnt gonna be on a losing side today.

And a little word for another of the unsung today - Craig Potter - very solid and industrious, his best game in a Knights shirt.

Jack just gets better with age Andy , knows when to scoot for the line & when to pass it out , quality player , agree about Potter , got through some graft today & took the ball in well , liked the look of Liam Kent also

Belting pass to Morrison for the try. Mind you, he still had a bit of work to do to get over for the try.

Well, not a brilliant game to watch, however look at the league table !! 6th place in a play off place and top of the bottom half, anyone would have taken that when the league kicked off. In previous seasons we would have lost games like today so we definitely have more grit about us to stick in games. Thought Lee, Browny & Sully stood out however a robust performance from most of the lads, not sure why Carr appeared to want to try the long killer ball across his own line almost every time he collected the ball, paid for one in the 2nd half.

Thought Rams were a poor side, they only really created anything off our mistakes, not the quality we have seen from Dewsbury over last couple of years.

Tansey is playing great for Cas, last seasons rest is doing him the world of good maybe Pryce is doing the same.

Can't be bothered with all the stuff about Pryce yesterday, would rather concentrate on our lads.

Jack Lee outstanding yesterday, Potter had a really good game, a few daft errors, but we won a

game when we were certainly not at our best in the 1st half.

A couple of Ed Smith mistakes ended up costing us points, but that's no excuse for some of the

tackling after those mistakes, but also noticed how he never hid & took the ball up loads more times

straight after those mistakes & tackled everything that moved - for me, Ed ended up having a pretty good game.

I don't think we performed as well as we could yesterday but we still won. These types of wins are very important on outcome of the league position at the end of the season. We would of lost yesterdays game a couple season ago, so we are really improving.

For me man of the match was Sully. Really made good yards yesterday.

Bit of a messy game yesterday but as already said a wins a win,the conditions in the middle of the field with a swirling wind was going to make the play a bit nervy, and that was evident with plenty of errors from both sides, but hey things can only get better.

Poor showing from both sides in the first half, but 2nd half we looked if we wanted it more.Got to agree Sully was outstanding in the pack(could do with another big foward?).Thought the ref was the best we have had for a long time.

Good win yesterday and i think we all would of taken 6th place at this time(although still a way behind 5th!!).Some good individual performances Sully and both wingers spring to mind, however someone have a word with Mr Carr regarding that heart attack pass he threw near the end :D
