London Broncos moving to Farnborough next year

I don't know whether they would all make it there but Skolars and Stags deserve the right to try. A feeder club concept would take that away from them.

I also think that Skolars should be our North London club. Broncos should be either West / South or East (they really need to make their minds up) and we need two more clubs for the bits of London that aren't covered.

Broncos may decline and no longer be an SL club, at the same time Skolars and Hemel may get to the championship and hold their own, but only if the Championship declines adequately enough to allow this.

And so it will come to pass that NONE of them will be "valuable to the future of League in London" because what you will not accept is that below Superleague, nothing has any value in terms of being able to stimulate the best athletes to play, the paying fans to turn up in numbers and the corporate people to take notice and invest whether through a £20 ticket, or a half a million pounds annual prop up of a club whom a businessman fancies backing.

RL in London without Super league is a minority enthusiasts sport.

But not in your mind.

Looking at the Broncos and farcical moves to Farnborough and crowds of 1500, several of them, and finishing in the bottom two or three for the last several years, it would be difficult not to conclude that SL in London is a not a minority sport and getting increasingly minor by the day.  The last piece of the jigsaw holding the Broncos together is Mr Hughes and he is 1) old 2) has publicly stated he is not sure how long he can continue propping them up. If ( when) he goes, the future of the Broncos and SL in London is very iffy.

If the game wants to hold on to a presence in London and rebuild it may have to come from the likes of the Skolars. If I was in a position, maybe like the RL could be, to financially assist RL gain a firm foothold in London, I would seriously look at assisting the Skolars to get the New River complex ownership, ( I understand the local authority want rid), and rebuild from there with none of the nomadic issues hich have plagued the Broncos odyssey around he capital.

At the moment the Broncos look increasingly moribund.
