Nope. Rugby union has that one well and truly in the bag.

I can't recall the last good pint I had at a league ground.

Even my old club, wath rufc has hand pumped ale on!

Just goes to prove the RFU realise the steps they have to take to make their game look good for their speccies.

He said decent pint. Pride doesn't qualify, even if he'd have said half-decent pint.

Have you tried Saints Gold at Langtree Park?  I don't like beer myself but those who do say it's a good pint.

There was a rumour that one of the bars were serving this in handpull, but since there wasn't the demand it was stopped after 1 match. However everyone I talk to didn't even know it was on and if they did they would have made the effort to find the bar.

This is a typical attitude to Real Ale, oh we tried it once and nobody bought it. Nobody knew where to find it

I think I'd need hand pulled absinthe to make their game look good.

I thought it was Greed Thing IPA on at the Stoop rather than Pride. I stick to Guinness there,

Skolars are doing different real ales at each of the games.

Hemel had Red Kite from the Vale Brewery on for the Gateshead game, which was interesting.

Salford City Stadium had a Caledonian ale on tap when I went there Friday night. Sold out by half time though.

Dad was let down there was no Guinness at Odsal on Sunday, usual fizzy lager though, dunno if it's only temporary. I think there is movement afoot at t'Bulls to have guest ales and whatnot.

I'm not surprised though, it must be supply and demand and cost, if you don't ask you don't get, then one man's nice pint is another man's pint of pish. They won't be able to win in the end.
