In the IPL, Chris Gayle scores a century from 30 deliveries, and goes on to score 175 from 66!

Holy. Cow. :O

The man is super-human. His record may never be broken, except maybe by himself of course.

I tuned in to the last over of the game, which Gayle was bowling, and it was pure theatre. Magic stuff - I can't wait to see the highlights.

And 175 not out in total.  Off 66 balls.

Correction to my previous post - 15 dot balls. I watched the highlights on ITV4, which were more extensive than the YouTube clips available. A.B.de Villiers also played a peach of a cameo, actually scoring at a faster rate than Gayle and showing amazing creativity in his shot selections.

Lancashire 2nd XI batsman Jordan Clark has just hit 6 sixes in an over against Yorkshire at Scarborough. Quite an achievement and an extremely rare one at any level of cricket.

Watch out for his name in our own T20 competition...
