Best named band was a local covers band made up of, er portly guys.

Above Average Weight Band.

They morphed into the less subtle 'Fat B*stards'

Didn't they also have an elvis impersonator as their frontman?

I saw a poster for a Robbie Williams tribute in cornwall somewhere with the name "Probably Robbie."

Yes, they did; a pretty good one, too. To be honest, their version of Reggae was very White American, but it was still quite fun. Robert Plant was a big fan.

My former brother-in-law is sixty. When my sister met him he was the guitarist in a local rock band but they moved to London and he stopped playing in bands for a long time .

As far as I know, he and a few mates still  play a couple of gigs a year under the name We Be Forty.

Not seem them play but he's a professional musician so I'd imagine they are decent.

It was a Smiths obsessive who told me that, so knowing him they must be pretty authentic.
