WELCOME TO NRL Round 9
.
The kick off to this round is on Friday 10th May
Everyone reading this is welcome to enter this weekly competition which runs throughout the season.
New entrants are especially welcome
Whether you've taken part before or you fancy having a go this week for the first time you're guaranteed a warm welcome.
Entries are allowed each week up until the kick off of the first game in the round

ROUND 9 QUESTIONS:
*Poll Competition:
Generally speaking there are more lower total points scores per round this season than there have been in recent seasons.

Let's look for the big scorers this week in our poll:
How many teams in Round 9 will score 30 or more points by full time?
- enter in the poll itself at the top and put your answer in your posting.

Now the main event of the week:

*Match tipping Competition:
Name the 8 (that's EIGHT) winning teams in NRL Round 9 2013

*Points Competition
How many points will be scored by all the teams added together in R9?
This is a competition in itself and will act as a tie breaker for the match tipping comp if necessary. This is used as the decider when necessary so do give it a go.

*Home Win Competition:
How many HOME wins will there be in NRL R9?
In rounds where the game is on the road and played at a neutral venue, the team named first in the fixture will be regarded as the home team for the purposes of this competition.

Fixtures:
NRLR92013_zps381a3c7e.jpg

Animated awards will be given for the winner(s) of each competition question.
Match tipping scores will be added together as the season progresses to produce a Tipsters' Ladder which is pinned to the top of the forum topic list page

The best of luck to everyone.
Enjoy your Rugby League! B)

Hardest game to tip this week? My vote goes to Sea Eagles v Roosters.

Herd instinct probably settled my choice in the Monday game between Manly and Chooks.

So far Simon is the only one to go for Sea Eagles which could prove to be a master stroke.

Good luck everyone, especially in the Monday game!

Looks like Barney and Kiwityke are providing the rear guard this week.

They always say keep the best 'til last.

Still ... .... ...  :D

It'd be great if we had a new tipster or two to join us, even if it's a one off thing.

First to score: Winterstein for Cowboys after just twelve minutes. Souths bungled playing the ball as they hadn't an acting half back. Cost them dearly a couple of quick moves later.

No conversion

4-0 to N Queensland.

bunnies seem to be getting the leg up on 'video calls'

If the Cowboys expand the ball more in the 2nd it will be a close game.
