Alibert- Hmmmmm, anything could happen. Hope Salford win and give Mr Koukash something to be happy about.

We won this corresponsing fixture at a canter 58-24 just over a month and a half ago so realistically we should be looking at a victory here. I'm certainly relieved to see Hanbury back in the line-up because he was devestating in that fixture and was certainly missing last week.

Of course it isn't at the Stobart this time and Salford have a new coach but as a Widnes fan I'd be very disappointed with a loss on Sunday.

As Salford have not won away in Super League in 2013 and they did concede 58 points in the last meeting with Widnes it may suggest that Widnes start as favourites.

To add to the omens for Salford,to those in my earlier post,I take heart with the performance at The Etihad last year against the more fancied Huddersfield side.

I think the Salford supporters will rise to the challenge and win friends in the stadium, and watching on television, and the players will take the opportunity to excel on the bigger stage, again.

Salford victory - but the defeat for Widnes will not be as large as last year. :good:

Pleased we're in front. Radio Manchester reckon Widnes have had the best of the territory so far. Our old failing again, though. Conceding scores right on half-time. It's so predictable, typical Salford! I think we need a few more tries, as I can't see us holding Widnes out for a full 40 minutes.

What the hell s up with the SKY team?

Eddie doing his absolute best to find excuses for the video refs, everyone else finding something negative in every peice of action, Cullen cant get past his Widnes bias and Studd is just a complete ignorant, bigoted tool.

They ruin the viewing experience for every game.

The officials in our game are completely destroying the sport, WTF is that decision all about FFS!

I'm talking about the disallowing of Broughtons try.

Correct call imo.

Defender was looking at and running towards the ball, gaskel only had eyes for the player.
