Andy Murray did say he fancied playing her in a game, I think that'd be entertaining!

Bobby Riggs is no longer around to advise him.

Robson is developing into a decent player. If she sorts out her erratic serving/problems with double faults she could easily be a top 20 player, perhaps even more.

Sounds like this came back to haunt her a bit today from reports (I wasn't able to watch the match myself) but she still managed to pull off a straights set win and go through to the third round, which is great.

There's a few areas of her game that she needs to develop, but she's only 19, so she has plenty of time in hand.

Haas beat Wang in straight sets.

Made me snigger anyway.

Well she choked that tie break. Lets hope she repeats Saturday's comeback.

Laura Robson loses the first set on a tie break. More surprisingly, Serena Williams is also a set down!

Lost the first set after being a break of serve up, and 5-2 in the tie-break. Not a great start. She seemed to bottle it a bit at crucial points in that set, but in the last match she came back from an almost impossible position, so no need for her to panic just yet. More composure needed at key points. All part of the learning experience, I guess.

Worth checking out the highlights of Agnieszka Radwanska v Li Na this evening. Sounded like a great match.

Oh Gawd, Del Potro's collapsed on court with a knee problem. He's carrying on after treatment, but it doesn't look good. Such a potentially great player, but so injury-prone.

That's the way the ball bounces as Novak says.  ;)

Murray getting a touch of the Tim Henmans - "COME ON TIM!" etc - on centre this afternoon. Lost the first two sets to Verdasco, who seemed inspired from the glimpses I caught. He's just won the third 6-1, and looks a bit more like his old self, so we'll see. Djokovic and De Potro both looked in great form earlier - that could be a cracking semi-final is Del Potro's injured knee holds up.

Also, how camp is Boris Becker? At one point on the commentary earlier he let out a particularly camp "mm-mmmmh" which sounded like his eyebrow was raised and he was slightly aroused by something. Perhaps he has a date in a cupboard lined up later.

Nicked from Twitter, thanks to a certain @aledsavedlatin "Unbelievable character shown by Murray. Unbelievable volume, shine and lasting hold shown by Verdasco". :D

He's just one white Persian cat away from landing that Bond villain gig.

Thank God this second semi-final isn't a damp squib like the first one was.

Blimey! Lisicki (nicknamed 'Doris Becker' by the Germans - famous for not having a sense of humour) wins 9:7 in the third set. What a match!

Great match indeed. By the sounds of it, Djokovic's win this afternoon was also a nail-biter, right down to the wire delaying Murray's match which appears to be a battle of the serves so far

Murray through to the final then.......looked a bit sketchy for him in the first set as that Polish fella had a monster serve and a fierce forehand. But he seemed to fade away as the sets went on and Murray gained some confidence from a few well played breaks.
