" Many of Stokes performances have been very poor bordering on abysmal.

Powells Fev were brilliant at defending just within the rules, 3rd man in late, slow the PTB down, niggling, etc. In attack they were masters of getting those penalties in the tackle. The number of times he'd blow on the 3rd or 4th tackle when they 'had the ball ripped' or other such kidology.

What is annoying is you could give a penalty at nearly every tackle for something.

Stokes hammered us time and time again but had the blinkers on to what was really going on. Credit to Fev for pushing it to the limit but an experienced ref wouldn't let that happen. "

Refs have a huge impact on results, even more so when teams are evenly matched
