Wednesday 5th June, ANZ Stadium, Sydney

Great series in prospect - well isn't it always?

Let's have a separate competition for the State of Origin Series.

Each comp can be stand alone, but we can also add them up so that we have a series champion tipster after the three games have been played.

The big one:

Match Tipping:

New South Wales or Queensland to win?

Extra questions for fun:

First Scoring Play

- one of these four options

NSW Try

NSW Penalty Goal

QLD Try

QLD Penalty Goal

1st Try Scorer

Just take your pick of the players from both sides - plenty of choice

Poll: Winning Margin

NSW by 0 to 5 points

NSW by 6 to 10 points

NSW by 11+ points

Draw

QLDby 0 to 5 points

QLD by 6 to 10 points

QLD by 11+ points

Everyone is welcome to enter

Enjoy your Rugby League :sungum:

What have you to do to get sin binned or sent off. Gallen's punches were disgusting. Is it the usual rules are put aside in origin?

That was thuggish behaviour from Gallen.

It's no good reffing differently (weakly) in Origin than in a league game.

Gallen lost his head and after committing a foul then assaulted another player who restrained himself and behaved properly.

What a weak response from the referees.

The ref talking to Gallen even let him claim to be wronged without any kind of challenge.

The refs weren't up to making the correct decision.

QLD forwards didn't respond in any way and as with the Gallen incident allowed the Blues to have the upper hand.

I guess that's it. QLD didn't have much fight in them today while Gallen and his team mates had it by the bucket load.

What do you reckon Gallen's punishment will be when he comes in front of the judiciary?

Will they be up to banning him properly?

He should have done a wee on the field. Then they would have got stuck into him. $15,000. no messing about. :rtfm: :rtfm:

Gallen gets a one week ban :rtfm:

A fairly ###### weak effort from the judiciary especially with the blues stating that their 'main game plan' was to attack Myles ?

I guess their secondary game plan was to take out any Maroon running in to catch attacking kicks ?

Think the refs pulled 'em on that plan...................................... ONCE

Maroons never seemed to get into a game mode & spent most of the 80 minute in one out hit up that went no where !

A deserved if somewhat violent win to the Blues

Gallen has been treated so leniently.

This sort of nastiness should be the focus of serious action and a punishment that will make him think before setting upon some other bloke.

I'd almost go so far as saying this is a green light for similar assaults in future games.

So much then for deterents and  good discipline in the game, or is that just for lower league and lower profile players who have to be made an example of.

This wasn't biff.

This was an assault by someone who lost it and left the rules behind against another bloke who obeyed the rules and didn't retaliate.

Shame on you judiciary.

You have let the game down.

Nate Miles coped everything he deserved and more, The scumbag rakes with his head and twists knees in tackles. The only thing I'm not happy about is that Gal did not knock him clean out. A longer suspension...Dead set Las Gal should of got a medal off the judiciary not a 1 week suspension.
