Members Meeting

25 posts in this topic

For those who don't already know:

The members meeting is tonight (6th June) upstairs at the Baum on Toad Lane. Meeting starts at 7.00pm and members are asked to sign in at 6.30pm.

I know there have been several reminders on here already, but no one mentioned the start time, hence the post.

Kind Regards

Brent.

Just to add to this, if you have anything you want to discuss under 'Any Other Business' this MUST be made known to the club before the event!  There is a full agenda and nothing will be added at the meeting itself tonight!

I think the meeting is now due to start at 6-30 to allow those who wish to get over to the U20s match at Mayfield.

Most good buisnesses do their meetings this way to ensure answers can be given at the time of the meeting.

Pathetic that you are having a meeting when your U20's are playing. Cancel your meeting, get of your *****,and go and support YOUR lads. They are yours and the Hornets future. See you there tonight, Up the yeds !!!!!!!!!!!

If the question is out of the blue the person or group may not have the ability to answer it there and then, so you would accuse them of evasion eh?  You won't believe the answers if they don't equate to what you believe to be the truth anyway!

Try to grow up a little and people may take you seriously!

It's a sad state of affairs that both clubs don't get a better turn out, but to put a meeting on when there's a match on is a bit silly. Meetings generally tend to go on and on.

You cannot honestly believe the board said "U20s have a game on Thursday night, lets organize a meeting" All our board hold down day jobs, not like that bloke you keep in clover, so sometimes circumstances dictate the diary.

Kind Regards, might still see you there yet.

The only meetings that go on and on are when you are debating how to make Whitebank into a real stadium...............................the meeting started some years ago but no result thus far :P

Your meetings wont last long, there ain't enough of you. I'm surprised you ain't having it in a telephone box. As for organizing a date, the fixtures have been out since January. Surely the future of the club is what happens on the pitch first and foremost. Hold your meeting after the game.

Kick off is now expected at about 8-45 as either hornets or the rfl haven't organized a ref

you're a sad man alroughyed. First put your own house in order. Win, lose or draw Hornets belongs to the faithful. Owned, in every sense of the word.

What would we need to say to Matt then Allroughyed?

From what I saw against Hemel U20s he is doing a great job with his squad of players.  In these games you have to understand that the performance is more important than the result, the result is good too but as long as there is a progression in the skills then that is what is needed and the results will come.

Now be a good little Roughyed and play in your own back yard you are in ours far too much at the moment.

Thanks.

Pugwash.

first thing I would be telling Calland is for him to teach his players discipline and respect. Players simply can't gob off at Refs because they don't like decisions that the official made, resulting in a yellow being turned to red.

Secondly, he needs to teach defence, letting 46 points in is not progress, it's laziness and carelessness.

Finally, pity you lot can't go in your own back yard, and support your lads.

How the other poster can say Hornets belongs to the faithful, when the faithful aren't being faithful by going.

As for putting our own house in order, not much wrong with it the moment, but every club in this division will have a problem of one sort or another.

See you in August.

What did you remark about grammer on your forum ?

It's "grammar", and I mentioned punctuation, not grammar. Try reading it if you can.

Like that AR, the bit that says "edited by you know who", it was only a couple of lines, be honest, did you find a grammatical error. LOL

No, when I typed " ,it didn't shift from 2 , so I corrected it, so instead of it reading " grammar", it appeared as 2grammar".

That OK for you ?
